I have poor circulation in my legs so I have been taking Thompson Horse Chestnut Supplements.

Horse chestnut helps improve blood circulation in the body and helps treat hemorrhoids, varicose veins, diarrhea, fevers malaria, skin ulcers, lupus and enlarge prostates.

So far I have been very pleased with this particular herbal supplement and my legs no longer feel stiff and achy. I am able to walk freely without joint pain. I have also noticed my varicose veins going away too which makes me happy.

Thompson Horse Chestnut Supplements come in an orange bottle with about 60 capsules in it that are very easy to swallow down with a large glass of water. The herbal supplements contain 400 mgs of horse chestnut and 54 mgs of escin. Escin contains saponins which help reduce inflammation and promote circulation in the body.

The way I have been taking these horse chestnut supplements is by taking one supplement a day after a meal with a large glass of water. I do notice if I take this supplement with just water I get very nauseas so taking food with them helps. If you have really poor circulation or are trying to treat server varicose veins taking two supplements a day might be useful after talking with a doctor to make sure it is safe for you.

Horse chestnut supplements can cause dizziness, upset stomachs, allergic reactions, headaches and nausea. Never consume raw horse chestnut because it is unsafe and can cause death do to the toxins in it.

I would recommend Thompson Horse Chestnut Supplements to anyone looking for a natural treatment for circulation problems and varicose veins because it has worked well for me. It is very important you talk to your doctor before taking this herbal supplement to make sure it is right for you since it can and does interact with medications such as blood thinners and pain relievers.

Horse chestnut also interacts with other herbal supplements as well such as garlic, feverfew, ginger, ginseng, clovers and angelica root so it is best to talk to an herbal doc before combining any of these herbs together. Other than all that I do hope those of you who try horse chestnut supplements get the health benefits you are looking for from it like I am.
