The Bun & Thigh Roller
"As Seen On TV!" Those four words make most people cringe and run, but could we be passing up a great product because a perky, size two bikini model on an infomercial airing at 2am is pushing this product? I've got the low down on the Bun & Thigh Roller.

Losing weight and getting into shape becomes harder as we age.
Finding diet and exercise programs that work, and are reasonable in price often proves to be even more difficult than actually committing to a fitness program. Infomercials seem to have every fitness "expert" you've never heard of touting his or her latest invention is the best on the market.
Many overweight and/or obese Americans desperate to lose weight fall prey to these late night marketing frenzies only to find their purchase was a waste of money that they can't afford to lose.
I watch those infomercials, but never buy anything - even if I think it's plausible the latest craze in fitness equipment could offer me tight abs and a butt you could bounce a quarter off of. I have always resorted to at-home self help in the form of sit-ups in my bedroom floor and a Pilates DVD bought from a Wal-Mart clearance rack.
While browsing the sporting goods section of the local Wal-Mart I did discover that some of those infomercial fitness machines are on the shelves for about half the price "fitness gurus" on late night television are selling them for over the phone.
I read the boxes carefully, and selected an inexpensive and small machine that targets the areas I have a lot of trouble with, the thighs and buns.together. After watching the video, I decided the Bun &Thigh Roller may very well be a good purchase and the following day used it for the first time.

Despite the fact that the women in the video are professional fitness models, the machine is easy to use and actually does work the muscles it claims to be designed for. The day after my first work out, I noticed those muscles were slightly sore, but not so sore I couldn't use the machine. The Bun &Thigh Roller is as easy to use as the advertisements claim. It's a lot like rocking in a short rocking chair. The legs do all of the work, so there's no need to have any upper body strength to operate the machine. The video covers three levels of machine use: beginner, intermediate, and advanced. With having three work out levels, this machine could easily pay for itself over time, providing the buyer sticks with the exercise and diet plans.
The Bun &Thigh Roller also comes with a diet plan full of breakfast, lunch and dinner recipes to accompany the exercise plan. Snacks are even included in the diet plan manual. I've been using the machine for about a week now and have noticed I'm feeling better and can follow the entire workout without stopping and restarting mid-way through. The video and leaflets inside the box advise to consult a doctor before use, but since I am already under a doctor's care for hypothyroidism and was given a clean bill of health just two weeks prior to purchase, I was able to proceed without worry.
I have noticed several websites, including the official Bun &Thigh Roller website, sell this product for $50 to $70 dollars plus shipping and handling, but I was able to buy it at my local Wal-Mart store for less than $40. Extra resistance bands and the attachment for working out the arms and shoulders are sold separately, but for beginning, the Bun &Thigh Roller that works the lower body is well worth every penny spent, and the money saved from not having to join a gym to work the same muscles.
If I could give this machine and video a report card, I would give it an A+ in the following categories:
1. It's easy to use, even if you are a couch potato that doesn't exercise normally.
2. Workouts are only 5 minutes long, and you can feel it working as you watch the video and follow along.
3. The included diet plan helps with cooking and learning how to eat properly.
4. The recipes in the diet plan are foods you can purchase at any grocery store, and the entire family will be able to eat the same meals you do.
I would recommend this product to my friends and family, regardless of body type.
The thing to remember is with any fitness and diet plan, you must take baby steps and not get discouraged when results aren't seen right away. Diet and exercise take time to build lean muscle and reduce body fat. Sticking with a diet and exercise plan can, in time, become as much a part of your daily routine as brushing your teeth or showering. Remember not to give up, and give yourself at least 30 days to see weight loss results before deciding an exercise and/or diet plan isn't working.
It takes the body time to adjust mentally and physically.
