I love trying out different brands and types of shampoos. I recently spotted Alberto VO5 Extra Body Volumizing Shampoo at my local drug store and I was delighted by the very low price of this shampoo.

I decided to purchase this hair care product and try it out! Here is what I discovered!

Alberto VO5 Extra Body Volumizing Shampoo is an attention getter, with it's very low price. I purchased a large fifteen ounce bottle of this shampoo for a little over one dollar. That is fantastically low and this is a very budget friendly beauty product, in my opinion. Alberto VO5 Extra Body Volumizing Shampoo has a lot of advertising on the bottle.

This shampoo seemed to have a lot going for it. It is supposed to add extra body to your hair, it has shine enhancing nutrients, it maximizes body and bounce and it has collagen in it. This product is not tested on animals and it comes in a recyclable bottle. Those are wonderful facts that I liked about this product.

Alberto VO5 Extra Body Volumizing Shampoo has a delightful scent that is very clean smelling and almost herbal. I really did like the fragrance of this shampoo. It just smells good. When I used this shampoo, I was more than pleased by the amount of lather that product produced. This shampoo cleaned my hair very well and I was satisfied with the results.

However, after using this shampoo several times in a row, I noticed that it did have a tendency to dry my hair out a bit. I also noticed that if you have color treated hair, it will fade the color more than a shampoo normally should. That is my opinion and what I experienced. I decided to use this shampoo occasionally instead of for every day use. I like this product for the great savings and it is a great shampoo for me to keep on hand for use now and then. I think this shampoo cleans hair wonderfully and it leaves no residue in my hair.

I discovered that this shampoo is good at giving volume and shine. If you use it too often though, it seems to be a bit too strong. This shampoo is designed to give hair more body and it does not have quite enough moisturizing in it for my hair. This shampoo says it is good for color treated hair. It has a five pro-vitamin complex to give body and shine to hair. I liked the collagen being in this product and it does make a difference. I rate Alberto VO5 Extra Body Volumizing Shampoo three stars out of five. You can find this shampoo in most drug stores and grocery stores. It is an excellent value for the money. I like to use this shampoo when I need a change from my other hair care products.
